REACH
REACH is a research group led by Professor Nickola Overall at the University of Auckland.
Our research focuses on how emotional, attachment and relationship difficulties can be overcome to build healthy and happy relationships. We investigate how couples and families can effectively support each other and resolve conflict to enhance health and wellbeing.
We also examine how people’s relationship insecurities and negative beliefs influence the way they respond in relationships, and identify the factors that can overcome the dysfunctional patterns that can arise from relationship insecurity.
